Trust me when I tell you that I absolutely positively adore each and everyone of my beautiful blessings called children.
They bring my happiness everyday and they are a joy to have.
On any given day you’ll hear me showering them with love and praise, encouragement and support, reassurance, motivation and more
However….
As most mamas know, parenting isn’t a bed of rose all the time 🙂
Things can go from 0-60 in a hot minute in this house as most mamas can relate to.
One minute everyone playing nicely, sharing toys, being kind to each other, laugh and playing happily, there are birds chirping in the trees and the sun is shining through the windows and a gentle breeze wafts through the houses carrying with it the scent of roses.
THE NEXT MINUTE, one child decides the game has to change, the other child doesn’t agree and starts to scream as the first child moves all the toys around, two other children are now arguing over who’s go it is with the laptop, I realise that none of the chores all the children were assigned 3hrs ago have been done, baby girl gets hungry and is crying, the birds all fly away, the sun creeps behind the clouds and it starts bucketing down (ok so the geographical stuff doesn’t normally happen but you get my point 🙂
When it’s all kicking off, here are the 5 things i’ll normally mumble under my breath, at least 5 times a week (and sometimes all in the same hour!!!)
- These flipping/ blinking children
- Give me strength in this house
- Is wha di backside
- Are you lot serious
- How many times do I need to say the same thing?!?
There’s nothing wrong with venting once in a while, as long as you acknowledge, appreciate and give attention to all the great things your children do to.
