With Dec 31st just round the corner, there’s likely to be alcohol flowing at every turn if you’re seeing 2017 in at a party. But if you don’t fancy getting legless this New Years, why not try one of these 3 simple & delicious non alcoholic party drinks to clink to instead, taken from my book Leah’s Raw Food Feast.
Non Alcoholic Party Drinks Recipes
Apple Ginger Lime Drink
A quick juice made in a blender and strained.
You’ll Need:
1 lime peeled
1/2 inch slice of ginger root, peeled
3 apples cored and quartered
4 cups of water
You’ll need to: Put everything into a blender and blend until everything is broken down then strain. You can store this in a glass bottle in the fridge for about 2 days, shake well before drinking.

Pina Colada
Once you’ve cracked the coconut, the rest is as easy as pie.
You’ll Need:
1 lime peeled
2 bananas
½ a pineapple peeled and chopped
1 brown coconut
3 cups of water
You’ll need to: Make coconut milk by breaking the coconut open, cutting out the meat, then blending it with 3 cups of water and then straining the milk from the mixture. Pour the coconut milk back into the blender, add the bananas, pineapple and lime and blend until smooth. If you really don’t want to crack open a coconut, you can make the milk from blending 1 cup of desiccated coconut in 3 cups of water and straining it, but I’d highly recommend making it fresh at least once for this recipe.
Fuzzy Pink Lemonade
Another quick drink made in the blender then strained.
You’ll Need:
2 limes peeled
1/2 inch chunk of ginger root, peeled
3 apples cored and quartered
2 cups of raspberries, fresh or frozen
3 tbsp of maple syrup, honey or 3 big soft dates
4 cups of water
2 mint leaves
You’ll need to: Put everything into a blender and blend until everything is broken down then strain. You can keep this in the fridge for at least 24hrs.
To make this fizzy, you can blend everything with 1 cup of water, then add 3 cups of sparkly water, stir gently and bottle until ready to drink.
